For many years now, Calemard® has been developing automatic turret winder technologies for plastic films, rubber and gum. Today, we also offer a complete patented converting solution for in-line fully automated and continuous winding operations without reducing line speed. Our Engineering team has developed a solution to cut in line narrow tapes down to 30 mm. This automatic turret winder is to be inserted into an extrusion line. It offers at the same time high technology and high versatility combined with easy handling and optimized productivity.

This patented solution has been developed to optimize handling between large tire slitter rewinder and spooling machines. This device consists in a specific solution able to wind up product on a slitter-rewinder, like our Orion G for example, and then unwind these bobbins on a narrow slitting and spooling line such as an Aquila G with no more handling for your operators. The product is now easily and quickly wind up, conveyed between the 2 machines and unwind, with one single bar only!
